Hello ableton family.

I have I think a relatively simple question. Im interested in finding out if there is a way to insert audio before the 1st bar of a song im working on, the reason being is that the music I need to be quantized begins on the first bar, but the audio sample that im introducing ...

Well from someone who currently lives in Phoenix I would say it's really not that bad here. Electronic music scene is practically DJs only, which is the one thing that may help people like us, if your interested in playing original electronic music live.

There is a decent sized art community ...

I recently picked up a m-audio firewire solo, (Im also running an external HD, midisport 2X2 and an Axiom 25 all running out of 3/4 USB ports) & ever since attaching it to my new laptop, the startup procedure & overall "feel" of the laptop seems to be significantly slower...

Kinda disheartening ...

Well all music that you are trying to make is comprised of 12 notes unless your trying to make "eastern music." Try your best to understand that within these 12 notes that are a finite amount of combinations that could possibly be explored, all this means is that it "composition" is not as difficult ...

Just picked these 2 up yesterday, was wondering if anyone has any personal experience with either of these 2 products. The m-audio has the same pre-amps as the internal audiophile 24/96 card, which I thought were actually pretty damn clean sounding.
