You, sir/ma'am, deserve to make babies. Thank you! I feel a tad stupid now, having tried out many presets but missed the correct one, but relieved. Changed the preset in MPD18 to the Chromatic one and we were good to go!

From what I've gathered, this isn't a very widespread issue and I've googled my badassles off trying to find an answer. Basically, I plug in the MPD18, load a kit from ze drum rack, and then I expect the 4X4 grid that is marked in the drum kit in the bottom panel to seamlessly map to the ...
