Re: Live8.2.7 STILL not dying from Task Manager after crash

+1, this is insanely annoying. It's adding insult to injury, not only will Live crash, but then it won't go away so you can restart and get back to work.

APC40 problem

this is probably something simple, but I'm just learning my way around the APC40 and every time I hit a clip launch button, a piano note plays. It's not triggering some piano vst in my session, it's something coming from the APC. How do I turn that off?

Re: why so much secretism about Live 9?

I don't want Live 9 because it will have a ton of new features, efx, synths, and functionality, 99% of the reason I want is because I want a stable version of the program and I'm hoping that's what we'll get.

Re: why so much secretism about Live 9?

They most certainly do not. Logic anyone?
Also, WHO have said theres is a v9 on the way? Just because there are so many naive threads about it, it must be true?
I cant handle the v9 frenzy, its all over the place. Whats wrong with people.

Are you kidding me? People are excited about a new version ...

Re: How do I clear Live out of memory after a crash?

Yes! This is probably at the top of my list of most hated bugs. It's bad enough that Live crashes all the time, but then it hangs around like an unwanted houseguest for about five minutes before it disappears.
I've tried everything, ending the process tree, ending every other process the computer ...

Re: I love you Ableton, but you're killing me

Isn't Live 32-bit? Which is to say, isn't going to see a whole lot more than about 4GB of RAM? I thought I read that somewhere but I may be wrong.

I've read, and this may be wrong, that since Live is 32-bit, that it can only use 2 gb of RAM, and that if/when they release a 64-bit version it will ...

I love you Ableton, but you're killing me

This is what I get, constantly.
I've got 12 gb of RAM, 6 cores, a 3.33 ghz processor, every other possible process and program turned off while I'm using Live, anti-virus disabled, and I still get this at least 4 or 5 times a day.
I should be ...
