Can I simple rename an Ableton song file and the folder its in in the Mac OS finder? Is that ok or would it mess something up?

Usually I start a song it's just called something generic like "new song" then after I put some lyrics to it.. it has a name.

I would like to share my new album with you called Joyless Pleasure. It's full of analog synths and drums including Electrocomp-101, Roland SH3, Yamaha CS5, Vermona DRM1 MKIII, Ekdahl Moisterizer. Of course it was sequenced using Ableton Live!

I think I used to do it in Cubase... it makes life just a bit easier when working with lots of external hardware.

Is it possible to label input channels? For example I have my Mic going into Channel 1, Moog into Channel 2...

Now the drop down input choose just shows 1, 2, etc...

Can I label these somehow? I can't seem to find out where.
