Re: R.I.P David Bowie

A little after the fact, but if you haven't seen this... Toni Visconti spends 16 minutes breaking down the recording of Heroes. Wonderful to see all the layers and techniques. Well worth a watch if you haven't seen it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03g18sx Nice, thanks for the post. That was gre...

For example: I remade my custom vst folder today after downloading the 64 bit version of ableton, only to find that some of my NI plugins (which I knew for a...

Re: R.I.P David Bowie

From his new album. A truly odd and unique piece of art. Really love the eclectic mash of musical influences in this piece. Parts of this track are very classic 70's Bowie. Re: live quit unexpectedly - always on opening

I was thinking it may have been a memory issue, not cpu issue, but considering you are using 64Bit, should n't be a problem.

Yep, I'd be swapping out the Vsts and see which one is the culprit.

Re: live quit unexpectedly - always on opening

Not much information to go on, but what's your memory usage when playing your set?
Are you using 32 or 64bit Live?
Any external vsts ?
