as a long time traktor user, i can say (with some hesitancy) that i won't be going back to vinyl anytime soon. more to do w/ issues with my shoulder, but lugging around a 4 lb. laptop compared to 30-40 lbs. of vinyl made me make the switch. i do miss the tactile-ness, but for what it's worth ...

it's a bit on the slow side for uploading, but I use megaupload for my monthly promo mixes.

Just got a dual core Dell & I've had lag issues when I drag clips into a scene-sometimes complete lockup... No problems with full tracks/MIDI data, etc.

after doing about 2 seconds of research, I found torrent downloads (p2p in other words) of not only live 6, but sonar PE6, traktor studio 3 & a few hundred different vst's & soft synths that places like sweetwater would charge a few hundred quid for. anyone see who's at fault here? hrm...
