I don't have any sort of similar issues with Traktor Studio 3 or Sonar 5, and it's on a brand new dell inspiron e1505 core duo w/ 1.4gb memory available. any help?

performance issue w/ 6 on a dual-core :O
live 6 is getting to be more of a hassle lately whenever I try to improvise on the fly. I try to drag a clip into a scene and live just gives me the blank screen of death for about a minute, and says "not responding" if I click anywhere in the window. after that, it's apparently fine, but what's the deal? it's a similar thing when I try to preview, except that it doesn't lock up, but takes about 30-45 seconds to preview a clip.

Power Saving has to be off.
