sorry man didnt mean to come off like an ass haha, but ya ive checked everywhere. I have instruments and stuff just not the ones that came on the extra disc, im pretty sure its user error. I'll keep trying to figure it out tho. I'll double check the folders

Well anyways, I installed all the additonal content, put it on my mac hard drive in the ableton folder, I can't find this stuff anywhere in the program. Any tips would be great. Thank you.

So I got Live Intro yesterday and its great, I'm having issues locating the live packs that come on the 2nd disc. I installed them by going into ableton and installing live pack, but I can't seem to find them anywhere in the program, I even tried the search function. Could anyone help me out ...

Thanks ya I've had the demo for a few days and I'm starting to get used to it. Pretty sure I'll just got with the live intro for now and once im comfortable with it i'll purchase a controller.

So I'm new to this whole thing, I really want to make some house/techno/dubstep stuff just for fun and maybe play a few shows. I'm up in there air about what to get. I really want to get something that is going to allow me to create the type of music I want to w/o being more limited than I'm already ...

Another stupid question,but scenes are the vertical tracks correct and tracks are the horizontal? Gah decisions decisions.

Well intro gives me 65 tracks can anyone lead me in the direction of comparison charts for the akai version? I'm really trying to get the best program, and I feel that ableton is it. I just can't get the full version yet and I want to make the right decision. I'm planning on making techno/house ...

Wait so I can get a controller and it comes with the light version, I think i remember somewhere that said you could upgrade to the intro for free also? Anyone have any links??

Hey all, looking to get ableton live intro, i know it only has 64 tracks, but say track one is a drum track, can i change the tracks underneath to other instruments and get the programs to play all those tracks at once? I just really need to know this before i purchase bc if I can really own have 8 ...
