Akai apc20 software - what kind of music can I make?

So I'm new to this whole thing, I really want to make some house/techno/dubstep stuff just for fun and maybe play a few shows. I'm up in there air about what to get. I really want to get something that is going to allow me to create the type of music I want to w/o being more limited than I'm already going to be (since I wont be buying the full version yet) So anyways the question is would I be better to get the akai apc20 with 8 tracks and 20 scenes or the live intro program with 65 tracks and 8 scenes per track? Any helpful direction would be great.

Thanks ya I've had the demo for a few days and I'm starting to get used to it. Pretty sure I'll just got with the live intro for now and once im comfortable with it i'll purchase a controller.
