Yes, absolutely ... go with the midi clock type of sync !

I'have a PC and my friend a MAC ... we do it with no problems.
Just connect the midi out of the master machine midi interface to the midi in of the slave machine midi interface.
Now open LIVE and:

1) On the master, select preferences/midi and check the "sync out" box.
2) On the slave, select ...

Looks like it has been fixed by NI in version 1.2.1 ... I switched to Nomad Factory Rock Amp Legends and I'm happy with that. Give it a try if you have the opportunity.

Just for the records ... i installed the Live 5.0.1 demo and my NI Guitar Rig doesn't work anymore. To be more specific: Live crashes when i try to switch to a different Bank, not to a different patch.

I had the same problem with this ground hum and it made it impossible to use my laptop if connected to main power. Solution ... buy a standard adapter (less than a euro in italy) and cut the central pin ... that's all.
