NI Guitar Rig VST problems

Hi

edit: just realised my prob is in the sticky... :dork:

any news on when the Guitar Rig plugin problem is going to be fixed or are there any workarounds for this vst crashing?

Looks like it has been fixed by NI in version 1.2.1 ... I switched to Nomad Factory Rock Amp Legends and I'm happy with that. Give it a try if you have the opportunity.

i finally upgraded to latest guitar rig and still seem to be having the problem of crashing.. the dropdown menu works fine, but if i change params in the vst window, it still crashes..

the audio unit of the latest works fine. but audio units are mac only right? I don't even know.. just know I use it..

I, too, have had a problem running Guitar Rig with Live 5 for quite a while. I even tried the brand new demo of Guitar Rig 2 with Live 5.02 - no dice. Still crashes. This is VERY frustrating, because Live and Guitar Rig are two VERY important pieces of my setup, and I really need them to play nice.

Here is quick info re: my system -

- Windows 2000, SP4
- 500 Mb RAM
- 60 Gb HD
- Audio card - M-Audio USB MobilePre
- USB MidiSport 2x2
- Edirol PCR-30
- USB Trigger Finger

- Live 5.02
- Guitar Rig 2 Demo (VST version)
