Re: newb quest: How do I patch in a snare hit on ONE part?
That's exactly what I want to do, but you should just be able to draw the beats in, shouldn't you? Everytime I draw the beat in, the beat is added to the whole loop. I just want to throw in an extra snare hit or a double snare hit for variation so the beat is not redundant through the whole song ...

newb quest: How do I patch in a snare hit on ONE part?
I am looping one measure in 4/4 time. I have stretched it for over a minute long and just want to patch in snare hits in certain parts for variation. I have the selected snare and effects layered, is there a way to do it other than copying the loop and drawing a beat in the pasted copy?? :mrgreen ...

Re: Newb Question Can't hear my keys (MIDI Keyboard IS activated
Ahhh Ha, I think I got it... Correct me if I am wrong. The monitoring in the track was set to 'Auto', switched it to 'In' and it worked. I'd rather fig simple things like that out by myself than have someone else tell me.

Newb Question Can't hear my keys (MIDI Keyboard IS activated
I was making a track and I am not quite sure what happened. I had a nice synth selected and was playing a melody over a beat I had made. I decided I wanted to work on the beat a little more and was adding effects. When I got back to laying the melody down, I no longer am able to hit keys and produce ...

The Code device looks beautiful. I would buy it for the LED-light colors alone.

Thank you all so much. You have been very helpful. I wasn't expecting such detailed responses... I guess you get what you pay for! I will look in to this and do some more research. There is this great music store in Seattle called American Music. I recommend it for Seattlites.
Thanks again yall ...
