solved - actually i had missed an operation (which isnt mentioned in the part of the manual i cited)
btw. as far as i read in the documentation as soon as i have a clip set to master no warping is applied to the audio - so it doesnt matter to the sound which algorithm is selected

hello and thanks for the reply - "unfortunately" i am doing exactly what you have described - thats my problem - in my case it just doesnt result in that tempo automation that it should - i have seen the process via skype at a friend of mine cos i also asked him - and at his live it just works ...
