Live really needs a crossfade funciton (like in pro tools and logic) in the Arrangment view for when you place a cut sample next to another sample, so you don't get pops and clicks. A crossfade between the samples in one track.

I don't think you can edit them. ( i've looked online at the manual, and it says nothing about being able to.)
Maybe the answer lies in the audio midi setup prefs in the mac? I know that you can aggregate 2 different audio interfaces, can you do that with midi?

I'm on a MacBook, 2G ram.
I tried to change the global midi channel with Enigma (the maudio software) to chan2 but it still wouldn't register. Enigma is wierd to use, almost to simple for its own good but not easy at the same time, and the xsession has no way of showing ...

I am trying to use 2 M-audio X-session pro midi mixers with Live 7.
They are both running on USB power. One on its own works fine, but when i connect the other into the 2nd USB port, Live won't recognise it.
I have tried selecting all the different ports in the midi pref's but to no avail.

I have downloaded pd, and dragged it into the apps folder. but when i double click it nothing happens.
I activated the iac in utilities. and still nothing. I even dragged the patch you supplied, but naaada!
Where am i going wrong?
