Hello,
I have an old macbook pro (2Ghz Intel Core Duo, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM) running on Leopard 10.5.8.
Every time I load an audio file on ableton in the arranger and I add a midi channel with a vst plug my CPU
goes berzerk. I might even try to doodle with some knobs or faders but it all stops ...

I faced the same problem today with a ''synthfix'' vst plug-in and a Wave Arts one and I am running on Leopard OSX.
