I'm pretty new to using external synths and trying to figure out the best way to save my JU-06 as an external instrument in Live, so that I can quickly drop that instrument into a set and start playing with Push. I've tried two ways, neither of which quite does what I want...

...in fact, just after posting that I tried importing a track from one set into another (just a simple audio track with one small sample clip and no FX).
The import took about 10 mins, with the Mac frozen up the whole time, while Live's CPU meter sat at 9596% (!).
Does anyone else experience this ...

I'm also using a 2010 MBP and experiencing the same issue.
Live often brings my Mac to a grinding halt, especially when doing something tasking like loading a set (which can easily take 15+ mins). Or even just importing clip from one set into another.

As much as this does indeed look very exciting (a browser with meta data would make my life a LOT easier), have to say I'm a wee bit saddened by the reaction on here. I'm trying to decide whether to buy the Remote SL Zero, or alternatively both the Behringer BCF and BCR. They way see it the Remote has the benefit of visual display, while the BCF/BCR have total recall (if only I could afford a Mackie and have both!).
