So here's my gear:

Soundcard: Saffire Focusrite USB
Mixer: Soundcraft Spirit Folio SX
FX unit: Zoom 1202

Now what I want to achieve in Ableton is to send individual channels to a return track with the effect of my Zoom 1202.

I've tried slamming an external effect on a return bus ...

Well, i'm not getting there. Basically the VST is a program which sort of improvises a midi track (harmonics), and should be linked to a vst instrument.

I tried nearly everything regarding routing, signals, different vsti's, but can't get it to work. Couldn't find anything on google/youtube either ...

That fixed it! God what a simple mistake haha...thanks alot. Had the pre-cue button on zero.

Topic title quite says it all. Thing is, i checked if the blue headphone was on, which it was, so that's not the issue. I'm using 7.0.1. I get this problem often when i'm taking a long time making a project..really annoying, help would be really appreciated

Well if i understand your question right i suppose you' re looking for .wav samples..i recommend buying a cd from the Vengeance series, depending on what style you plan to produce..just look it up on google and you' ll find something

So i booted up Ableton today... i wanted to insert some samples in the arrangement screen. Normally, i click once on a sample in the search window so that it plays. However, all of a sudden it just won't play anymore! And dragging and hearing samples in arrangement view gets annoying after a ...

I was wondering, if i could, sort of link up ableton to my mixer and turntables, and sort of use ableton as an effect machine, using my keyboard?

Behringer VMX300 (crappy, i know)
2x Gemini TT-02
