Downloaded MIDI's don't work properly with VSTi's

Heya folks,

Recently i loaded some downloaded MIDI's into Ableton, once i chose a certain sound scheme on a certain VSTi(In this case Predator - i tried more VSTi's though), and i press play again, the sound scheme always jumps back to some sort of default scheme, which really freaks me out. i tried exporting the MIDI file, but with no positive effect. I hope someone can tell me how not to keep it from going on default. I use Ableton 6.0.7.

Try removing the program change in the clip.

Left of the MIDI editor. Set all program change boxes to "none".
