separating the color brackets with 2 APC's?
How do I separate the color brackets when using an APC 20 and APC 40. As of now if I move one bracket the other scrolls with it. Ideally I want ot have two separate areas of my set highlighted

If you have the money get an RME. It is a world of difference and your recordings and playback will sound monumentally better.

Re: Is it possible to modulate guitar into a bass?
You can not turn a guitar tone into a midi signal with out a midi guitar with a converter.
As far as changing the tone of the guitar into a bass just use an ocatvor, Jack White does this to make his guitar sound like a bass

Re: Does anyone use a sepearte computer for making music?
Macbook Pro for Music and an HP laptop for everything else. Keeps it nice and simple. same here. Works really well, considering mac's one down fall: heavy programing based math tools... -.- Here I use win. But for music, stay away from win unless you wan't to spend hours tweaking it to bit's... So ...

Re: Single MIDI track to multiple tracks?
So essentially you need to convert one midi track with all the tracks into several discrete tracks?
What you need is a program that can convert the midi type from MIDI type 0 to MIDI Type 1 ( i may have that backwards.

Re: Headphone amp or audio interface?
Well a head phone amp is only going to do 1 of 2 things. 1 Boost a low volume 2 give you multiple outputs for more head phones. If you are interested in maximizing audio quality then you should look at what is touching the audio. Historically any computers on-board sound card is mediocre at best. So...
