i had been using the 2/6 for about 4 months, there was always a slight crackle to it when you were using channels 3-4 for previewing, but all of a sudden the crackling got really bad...i mean really bad, to the point you could not hear the samples anymore, just shit!

ok so i added the txt file and i didn't notice any other options...i'm running 1.5.2, perhaps this fix doesn't work on this version?

i pushed the latency to about 100ms and its a bit better, but still has that annoying crackle.

running live 1.5.2 on a 2.0 ghz p4 PC, with a emi 2/6 usb sound card...and am having crackling issues. in the ctrl panel i have it set to asio/emagic, the master is set to bus 1/2 and the pre-listen through 3/4, my latency is set to 20 ms and no matter what i change it to the crackles are still ...

i'm in cleveland...close enough?

if the weight/discomfort of the laptop is your main concern, i would opt for a better carry-bag rather than getting a less powerful laptop that you'll hate later on...i was previously using one of those strap around your shoulder sidebags and indeed it did get a little painful on the shoulders...it ...

yeah it's pretty intertmittent right now, just did a 20 min practice set at lunch with no problems at all, but then about an hour or two ago i could barely use the pgm at all with all of the error messages popping up etc...

ok...no they don't. have been getting many of the live generated error messages and some from windows too, even got the blue screnn physical memory dump a couple times...bad news, i guess i'll be re-installing 2000 pro tonight. =[

live and XP pro work fine together.

just got a new laptop and installed XP pro as the OS, was wondering if i'll have any issues with live when i install it tonight?

well i managed a fix of sorts...i installed an older version of this plug-in and live finally detected it, but still would like to be able to use the newest version of it.

ok this is getting absurd...i have uninstalled and reinstalled this plug-in 4 times now and have moved the directory around, renamed etc etc etc...and live will just NOT recognize the dll file no matter what i do. it recognizes everything else in the folder...just not this one particular file. it ...

been using live now for about 5 months and am very happy with it as a "live" platform. can't wait for the full version of 1.5

i'm using a toshiba satellite 1805-s273, 1ghz p3 with 512 megs ram. windows 2k professional OS and lots of performance tweaks...and running all of my loops off of a 60 gig firewire HD and have had no problems in live performances.

i keep a seperate user profile just for live performances with every ...

good question, i was under the assumption that there were diff skins available on the ableton site.

anyone know where/how to modify or get other skins?
