Why wouldnt your work be automatically shown in both "views?" Arent they just two interpretations of your palette?

Working with Vocal wav
I want to produce a song with some vocals. When I drop the vocals to a track in Live 8, it sees the wav as 153 bpm.
Will warping help me drop to a more reasonable tempo?
Also, how can I slice this to use in pieces?
