What happens if you disconnect the audio interface and use the MBP speakers as output? The Push 2? The other devices?

Have you completely discarded a malfunctioning of your system being the culprit? No matter if it's new and expensive like yours. Live 12 works amazing here (since pre-release betas), in a less powerful than yours M1 Pro MacBook Pro running latest version of MacOS Sonoma. There's no reason it should ...

BTW, this also happens in Live 11. Along with Live 12 release/beta.

To be fair, Live 11 also lags in extreme scenarios, but it seems to me that it does to a lesser degree than Live 12. These seem to be the upper limits of what the program/system can handle.
