After using the same Dual Core Notebook PC (Vista) and external hard drive for many DJs gigs , all of a sudden, when I jump around previewing MP3 tracks during my DJ set, Ableton hangs and indicates "Not Responding" . The track playing continues to play but the screen is frozen and the only way out ...

i have the same problem...upgraded to live 8 the other day, and it's running SO slow...preview in browser takes 3-4 seconds to start, when i drag a channel into the arrangement, it also takes like 5-6 seconds...

I have a quadcore q6600 with 4gb ram, and a motu ultralite mk3.

i'm perfectly happy with my Remote SL Zero, since i finally got my head around the editor (forget about automap, that sucks).

It RROCKS.

it depends on what you will pay for it

set them to c2, d2, e2, f2, g2, a2, b2, c3 and make sure they're going out the correct port,they are not automapped. also, look for the menu to change the sensitivity.

with mine i had to just edit the newest template 38 (it was not working in the ableton template, but you can edit that aswell ...

So My automap seems to find any clients but regardless shows no hardware connected. My novation remote zero seems to operate fine and automap is working. I would still like to know why it says no hardware connected..I am using a macbook pro with leopard

Anybody experienced on that? Daisychaining is a biiiig no-no. You can't simply compensate for the delay, since input/output also causes ...
