Re: Volume/Velocity in Draw Mode
Never mind. Figured it out. Found the Volume to Velocity param and found a youtube tutorial on how to copy the param into all pads on a drum rack. Yay. Thanks.

Re: Volume/Velocity in Draw Mode
Where in the drum rack do I make each sound velocity sensitive? I'm still somewhat new at ableton (moving from an MPC) but I'm using a drum rack with samples dragged in as mp3s and sampled in from turntables. When I use internal sounds on a pre-built drum rack the velocity slider definitely changes ...

Fine-Tune the Pitch of Internal Instruments
Is there a way to fine-tune the pitch of the internal instrument racks? I have a sample that's a bit sharp, and rather than trying to re-sample (which would then change the speed and mess up my entire project (and yes I know how to use warp but my sample situation is complicated)) I'm wondering if I...

Volume/Velocity in Draw Mode
I'm trying to adjust the velocity/volume while in draw mode and even when I slide the slider down the actual played volume stays the same. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Tempo Change on Drum Rack
Great, thanks. I don't use a lot of mp3s - I"m mostly turntable based - but I'll remember that. Thanks.

Tempo Change on Drum Rack
Ok, so I drag an mp3 from itunes into a track and the entire song warps automagically to the bpm of the live session. Then I clip out a snippet and drag it to an empty drum rack and it reverts to it's native (in this case faster) bpm. How do I get the snippet to retain the slower bpm of the session ...

Re: Time Stretch a Sample Without Affecting Pitch
Pretty funny shadx. Avery Brooks in the house. Spencer for Hire. Say word. Of course it's warping, but using an mpc or other DAWS you can just grab a sound bite and manipulate it rather than going through all of the steps to warp something basically taking a guess at the warp markers to stretch it t...

Time Stretch a Sample Without Affecting Pitch
I want to stretch or squash a single sampled sound bite (not a midi note) regardless of tempo. I have a sound that's too short for the space I want it to fill, so I want to drag it out a bit longer, or I have a sound that's a bit too long for the space I want it to fill, so I want to shorten it. Bot...

Not sure if this is the same solution, but I want to stretch or squash a single sampled sound bite (not a midi note, but a sampled sound) regardless of tempo.
