Sadly no. The closest I came across was the awesome work that Stray at NativeKontrol was doing, in particular his DDC display / PDE (Push Display Emulator), etc… But looks like it is not Live 11 compatible and not sure if he is still actively developing anymore.

Hi all - have searched high and low, but not been able to find anything to shed light on this...
Does anyone know of a way to output the parameter names for the current device's current parameter bank to ... something , for example:
- a max for live device?

Hi John,
No that wasn't me - although I do have the same problem. The damn US-428 sends CC on the jog-wheel instead of encoder, might look at using some kind of translator like midipipe or whatnot to fix this, but it's not a biggy (afterall a jog wheel is just a big knob right?! And I've got 24 of ...

US-428 was getting tired - until...
Hi all,
I've had a US-428 for a very long time - since they were first released. For a long time I've been pretty frustrated with it - especially Tascam's crappy support for the device. It has a lot of potential that just seemed to me to be wasted because of it's lack of flexibility when it comes ...

Hey - let me know if you find an answer to this, I've been searching for the past few days for all sorts of workarounds... Universal Binary Midi Translators (no luck), custom maps/drivers for the US-428 (definitely no luck!), and all sorts of other crazy ideas to try and get the mappings to work ...

I still have to test this to verify the actual latency but it seems very low. Also no noticable pops and cracks (although a few people have mentioned that they've experienced this with either Jack or Soundflower).
I'm using a Tascam US-428 (4 in , but only 2 out). I use this for the main mix. And ...

"Jack (the Jack Audio Connection Kit) is a low-latency audio server, written originally for the GNU/Linux operating system, and now with Mac OS X support. It can connect any number of different applications to a single hardware audio device; it also allows applications to send and receive audio to ...

Neat Tip:How to use TWO audio interfaces with Live (MacOS X)
I know a lot of people have struggled with this concept - how to pre-listen when you only have the built-in sound card and your main audio interface is two channel out only?
Rather than using mono outs (as per the tutorial) I have figured out a better alternative.

Ableton Live vs Ableton Live Digidesign Edition (or Delta)
A few posts and replies have tiptoed around this point (as do the ableton, digidesign and m-audio webistes)... but nobody seems to want to cough up the facts.
