the 4.6 drivers are seriously flawed (on vista at least)!

they have tried to implement some system to deprioritise vista window rendering, but in doing so have caused MAJOR lag spikes (in both love 6 and 7) when ever you try and scroll (or try and open any window actually). rolling back to 4.3 ...

funnily enough, i just noticed the same thing about 5 mins ago. i'm not sure if this can be rectfied or not yet. btw, i have an audio fire 2 which uses ASIO2.

sounds like the vibrations from the bass are causing the acuator on the harddrive to to skip. maybe either try putting the laptop on the tirntable, or select the option to load the song to RAM. do you see the 'drop' indicator come on when in ableton?
