asio: can't run ableton and play audio from other programs

when i'm using asio4all with live, i can't play audio from other programs such as sound forge and winamp, and i'd get an error message each time i tried. i switched the sound forge sound driver to asio4all, and the error message went away, but i still can't get any audio outside of live...oh, i'm running live 6

funnily enough, i just noticed the same thing about 5 mins ago. i'm not sure if this can be rectfied or not yet. btw, i have an audio fire 2 which uses ASIO2.
