I threw it in the trash and deleted it but I'm not sure if that would solve the problem.. Is there a way to uninstall it as if it wasn't there in the first place?

Press play and it freezes.
I am running Ableton Live 8.2.1 on Mac OS X Lion 10.7. I will open up Ableton and everything will load fine but I try to press the play button or hit space bar and the scrolling indicator does not move, the software will not react to any of the hotkeys, freezes and crashes. It has worked just fine ...
