Funny this, when laying in bed last night with the ringing sounds in my ears i contemplated starting this thread myself.
For me it started about six months ago, a really high pitch sound in perfect stereo ( sometimes wandering to my right).
I am pretty sure it comes from using headphones, I rarely ...

To save Neb a bit of hassle (although what a kind offer, this forum really is pretty good IMO)

You can also check out JRR shop, I just bought Melodyne from them using email delivery.

Loads cheaper than here.. . .

My take on it ( remember, i know nothing about mixing or earphones):

Stay away from in-ear stuff, IMHO they rarely comfortable and will make your ears bleed.
Go for open headphones, better sound ( in my experience), not as tiring as closed ones. Open headphones leak more sound though, they are ...
