ok this would be the one issue that makes me buy live 7. I have used lite versions from version 4 but have always been unhappy with the audio engine.....
is there a noticable difference in 7 ? any long time users see an improvement?

me too! bought a virus ti keyboard 3 days ago, when I record anything using the keyboard, live is inputting the notes into the sequencer 1/16th of a note behind. changed all latencies, etc, still no good.
the workaround is only good for one track, i.e, if you have to disable delay ...
