I hate the clicky rotary knobs on my axiom, does anyone have them set up in a way that sort of takes advantage of the clicks?

at least for me, aftertouch worked great, once i re assigned it to a different CC than 131, now i can hold the note down and trigger the aftertouch to assign this just like any other midi learn parameter

I had this same problem when i first installed my axiom, it was like live would just quit listening to the axiom after 20 or 30 minutes.

I was never able to reproduce this in other software while using the axiom, but it hasn't done this in the last few weeks. I've never noticed a loose USB ...

i dont see how mash ups cheapen what they sample, mash ups themselves are cheapened peices of work, not on the same level as original work, sortof ADD DJing, and except for tremendous exceptions like the grey album, they come and go ...

what do you use for labeling your midi controller faders and knobs and whatnot? those electronic printer labelers just seem overkill to me

yeah real time and stuff is unrealistic to me, what i want is more of a document management with some synchronization options

Yeah, ftp is the easiest choise, i'm just thinking about alternatives that would do a little more, Groove and stuff like that is a pretty good idea i hadnt thought about.

i think some of those programs will do a comparison of directories and not re-upload stuff, if your re-uploading a 900 meg ...

does anyone use any special software or server for sharing projects with collaborating folks or for remixes?

I sent in a question about 3 weeks ago about a problem in operator that i repoduced on both my PC and mac and never heard back. it was very dissapointing and is one of the bigger reasons i'm not interested in purchasing sampler.
