that's exactly what i want to do except that in live's preferences it will only let me assign 1/2 or 3/4 to the master out.

can't adjust eq's simultaneously - bit too finninky without a midicontroller

using live with a quattro usb.

i have the master routed to 1/2 and prelisten to 3/4. 1/2 is cabled to line 1 on my mixer and 3/4 to line 2.

can anyone suggest a better set up for mixing full length tracks since this set up is a liittle cumbersome.

i am thinking it would be good to have track 1 ...

i hope this post doesn't receive too much scorn but i am looking for someone who wants to split the cost of the steve stoll loop cd designed for live.

i want to get a controller for Live but i want to be able to (hopefully) use it for cueing tracks.

i am using live almost solely for djing so i need to cue the tracks prior to mixing.

around $200 to spend but happy to get 2nd hand equipment on ebay

new user playing with effects now can't turn them off. when i select the effects from the left hand browser, it looks like everything is off - ie, the window at the bottom is blank. but when i play the clip, i can still hear a reverb.

weirder still, when i pan full left or full right, the effect ...

ok - here's what i am trying to do:

i have two house tracks that i have imported from vinyl. 1 is 128bpm the other 127bpm.

i am trying to mix one into the next.

i have the warp markers set so that they appear on all of the right beats for the duration of the track.

track one is say 16 bars from ...

i want to get a midi controller.

does anyone know of a midi controller that has a sound card included?

OK - i don't get it. i have the bpm exact so that the warp markers are on the money all the way through the track. i also have the cue point set exactly on the first beat.

i have it set to repitch the track so that tracks of different bpm will not sound crazy (am i right here??? maybe the repitch ...
