You're welcome=P. Unfortunately I know little to nothing about rescripting. And from what I can see in the "preferences" section of Ableton there dosen't seem to be any apparent way of rebinding commands.
I can't imagine that there wouldn't be a sollution to this however, probably in this very ...

Ye I was also a bit frustrated with this at first and at the same time I found it hard to belive that they had removed the feature.
So I tried a couple of buttons and sure enough, if you higlight an area and hold down shift while draging it up or down it'll work like in Live 8.

Didn't click the link neither, at shcool atm. Classic thing to do with house claps tho is to layer them with snare suonds and let the actual clap sound hit a slight bit before the snares.
In other words, turn of grind and move the clap a slight bit to the left. Will achive that "suck in" kinda sound ...

I feel you fella. Finding and tweaking sounds for each and every element of a track can be trublesome work, especially when it comes to the less prominent sounds.

What I guess you could do, in case you haven't tried it out yet, is to listen through a bunch of tracks from the genre you focus on for ...
