Re: Things you wish you had known earlier...
The following points may seem mega-obvious and even faintly absurd but worth stating and something of a demon purge.
If you're working somewhere where you're constantly disturbed and distracted, leave for somewhere better.
If you do vocals yourself as well as everything else, double leave for ...

Feature: No removing names of tracks in browser
Wouldn't it be great if in the browser you could actually see what you've named, or what Live has automatically named, a track in a particular project rather than just

Unwarp a mixture of warped & unwarped clips in 1-click ffs!
Apologies if this possible to do and I just don't know how (and please feel free to put me out of a frustration and set me straight if so) but otherwise this is a major bugbear...
Imagine the scene - you've got a load of audio in your project, you realise, perhaps, that a lot of it has Warp on ...

Re: VERY frustrated DJ/Producer.
If you're a sensitive soul, you can't enjoy the process of course if you don't have a quiet, peaceful, irritation-free, non-paranoia-inducing place where you can feel you can do it unstymied and unencumbered, free from concerns about potential neighbour complaints/invasions and so on. (I'm just ...

Re: Productivity request: Batch bounce of individual tracks
This request is still very valid and it seems like the conversation had strayed from the major point as I see it.
You can either render "All tracks" or one track in particular, but you can't have, e.g., tracks 2, 3 and 5 rendered and no others, and its this custom functionality that would be nice ...

You should have a VST folder... but there's issues with Massive if you're not using the latest update...

Re: batch-freeze tracks
Yes I've sought this for years - just skipping the ones with an Audio-In or whatever that can't be frozen instead of not freezing any and forcing you to tediously do each one manually!

One or more of the files is undesirably set to warp...? Like for instance the first one that seems to coincidentally be within the bounds of the loop brace..?

Re: 64 bit
I read somewhere that 64-bit doesn't talk to that much more RAM than 32 does.
I'm all for 64-bit don't get me wrong, just that it may be the case that people have too high an expectation of what the RAM and speed jump is gonna be...

Re: Add name/Rename group tracks
Absolutely. Said a similar thing about tracks that automatically name themselves after a plug-in you've put on. When you look at the browser, to try and find that particular track, the name's not there, just says MIDI! Incredibly annoying that...
