Please help, ladies and gents....
im mastering my own 4/4 dance track, 127 bpm's.
on the master strip i have in this order
PSP vintage warmer, oxford dynamics, oxford eq, oxford inflator, waves s1 imager and last oxford limiter on gentle master safe mode.
All is well until i activate the limiter ...

Im concidering the jump, from Pc to Mac. The Pc i have at the moment is optimised for music production by Inta Audio, Uk. Can i buy off the shelf the i5 apple imac, without optimising it for music production? Or is there tweeks i should concider?

I can't believe somebody applied swing to a 4/4 bassdrum and thought there could be any difference.
When I read the OP I thought he was talking about breakbeats, and there it DOES make sense to have some swing on the bassdrum as well.
And yes it IS sometimes near to impossible to mix a track with ...

swing doesn't affect quarter notes. so if you have a 4 on the floor kick, any swing amount is possible without altering the main kick in the groove.
swing moves 8ths or 16ths notes a little forward or backward in time.

i havent listened to your clip, but if ita an audio clip, draw a transpose line up to +24, work worders for build ups......

what is this "boxyness" area i hear people speak off? 200-400 hz?
