im mastering my own 4/4 dance track, 127 bpm's.

on the master strip i have in this order

PSP vintage warmer, oxford dynamics, oxford eq, oxford inflator, waves s1 imager and last oxford limiter on gentle master safe mode.

All is well until i activate the limiter ...

complex works best for me......

Im concidering the jump, from Pc to Mac. The Pc i have at the moment is optimised for music production by Inta Audio, Uk. Can i buy off the shelf the i5 apple imac, without optimising it for music production? Or is there tweeks i should concider?

Does anybody connect to the internet with their imac ...

what options are u ladys and gents using in the rendering of ur tracks?

eg= rectangular, trianglar, pow 1,2 or 3

I can't believe somebody applied swing to a 4/4 bassdrum and thought there could be any difference.

When I read the OP I thought he was talking about breakbeats, and there it DOES make sense to have some swing on the bassdrum as well.

And yes it IS sometimes near to impossible to mix a track with ...

swing doesn't affect quarter notes. so if you have a 4 on the floor kick, any swing amount is possible without altering the main kick in the groove.

swing moves 8ths or 16ths notes a little forward or backward in time.

I Dont think ur correct on that statement Pepezabala, i believe swing affects ...

How much swing could be applied in the global box to a kick before it become's a dj's nightmare on a 4/4 track?

i havent listened to your clip, but if ita an audio clip, draw a transpose line up to +24, work worders for build ups......

i have a deacent enough studio set up, acoustic foam, bass traps, KRK vxt 6 monitors, KRK ergo room correction.

what is this "boxyness" area i hear people speak off? 200-400 hz?

what general frequencys are u boosting/ cutting on the master strip ...
