Just wanted to say: I did some tests in an apple store with my 867 tibook VS the new 1.25 powerbooks

The RME click issue is not just with the rev b tibooks… it also occurs on rev C, so that’s the 550/667 and 667/800 models. Taking the hdsp_oms file out of the oms folder solves the midi ...

fruity is cool! i like it, use it once in a while and always shocked at how fun it is to work with (as opposed to some apps that drain me till I want to leave my studio!.. live is defiantly a fun one)

as you can see by the posts above about the ”sound” of reason, everyone has their opinion and ...

also experiement with ram-disks. Create a ramdisk (apple menu->control panel-> memory.. then chose ram disk) you have a boat load of ram so i would create a big one, like 200mb.. then upon restart you will see this ram disk on your desktop. Use this to store your audio for you live set.

if what he is asking is what i THINK he is asking then it can not be done, but this feature should be implemented asap...

say for instance you have a clip setup to trigger with the hit of a midi key, it was also set to NONE for quantise...essentially after you record your self jamming on the midi ...

I always partition at least 2 sometimes more depending on the size of the drive. Got to stay organized and nothing spells good organization like the first elements in your disk drive hierarchy

kerrydan i have asked for this in a long list of suggestions sent to ableton last month, i called it retrigger quantization and it seems it would sit beautifully under the launch mode in the clip view... hopefully we see something like this soon, as i like the concept and would use it a lot. the ea1's knobs will not send out descrete midi cc #'s for the knobs-> so it would be good only for triggering
