In the 'Sample' area of clip view, is there any rhyme or reason why certain of my samples have the :2 and *2 buttons are greyed out, and sometimes not? I would like to do more half time and double time of some of my samples, to mangle them up more, but i've noticed recently that many times they are ...

still on Live 4, but i'm trying to move some tracks around in Arrangement Mode, and I want to be able to move a clip (or automation data) to another track and have it be in the exact same location.

often, my tracks are long, not warped, and i'm not working on a specific grid...I thought ...

but if you were doing odd time signatures in arrangement mode...how would they line up to the grid? I have to try this out. I have a friend who was very interested in the last version of Acid, because it supported odd time signatures. If Live essentially ignores it, as you say....hmmmm...

I don't understand your question. If you read my original post, I am interested in collaborating with someone with Live 4. At this time, I have not uploaded any files to work on until I have been in contact with someone who is interested.

The files that are up on my website are finished pieces and ...

Is Cubase 5.0 VST not rewire capable? Wouldn't LIVE open as a rewire slave if Cubase 5 was a rewire host?

yeah, i've gotten used to not touching the knobs of parameters that are controlled by automation, but altering the automation envelope instead.

however the 'back to arrangement' button did the trick. thanks!
