I just tried to order Live about 30 times with 3 different cards, and they all errored. This service is known for actually being vulnerable to phishing. In my case, I need them to be VSTs because I want to use them in Torq. I am running Torq through Ableton at the moment but some compatibility issues have forced me to ditch Live, so I need some VSTs to run inside Torq that can replace the auto filters I was using in Ableton.

Ever since I upgraded my OS to Snow Leopard, the audio coming from Torq to Ableton is pitched up or down. Torq works fine on its own. When Rewired, the sound is either pitched up too high (along with the tempo increase) or too low (with tempo decrease). Everything is fine from Torq up until it goes ...

I am also looking for an alternative, but a more specific one. I am looking for a plug in that allows me to have a high pass filter and a low pass filter at the same time, so basically it can replace two instances of auto filter in ableton.

What controller do you use? If I were to use traktor I would want a full size jog wheel, something that really compare to vinyl so you could scratch or juggle. The NS7 looks really amazing, I wish I could just buy the individual decks.

Yeah, it's starting to look that way. Though, if I'm going to spend money on a controller for traktor, I may as well cough up the money for a mixer that has a sampler on it. Thanks though!

One of the things I don't like about Traktor is that, as far as I can tell, you can't make the waveform appear ...

Also, I use a standard DJ mixer, I know I could solve this by getting a mixer with a sampler on it, which I might have to do.

I DJ using unwarped songs, beatmaching with the fine pitch shift (which, by the way, you can't map to midi. Ugh.) Because of this, I don't use any kind of BPM function, counter or MIDI ...

I am in the US. I bought a used copy of Live 5. the seller was sure that it had not been registered. when i tried to unlock, the limit had been reached. does this mean the seller was mistaken/lying ...
