you can with VST fx but not the ableton fx.

I want a mini keyboard (not midi) that can be programmed with key-commands (eg: ctrl shift p ). Also it needs to have either space around the keys so i can label them or have clear tops for the labels.

I hate this 'feature'. I lost a lot of work by doing this, creating impulse instruments, 'saving' them but then not saving the set!!!

If you record your guitar with a stereo mic in front of your amp, then record it in stereo to preserve the natural stereo image.

but generally one would record a guitar with just one mic (or DI it) i guess, so record it as mono.

the problem i have with these kind of modular softsynths is that it is so easy to get nyquist artefacts. The presets on modular VSTis always avoid doing modulations that generate such frequencies.

install asio4all, then start ableton and in the audio preferences, change the sudio driver to asio4all. It should work ok on the initial settings. You can change the settings if you feel the latency is still too high though

it'll just be for studio use. I want a rackmount only because i think they look cool

most PC cases are really gross looking. It seems impossible to find a plain case (without any fancy fins or shapings or etc)
