Re: Group filtering and sends issue
Any more thoughts on this please? Surely there is a way to filter a 'group' (be it group or audio bus) that includes the sends?

Re: scrub through preview with warping off.
Also, having a volume adjust next to the pane would be handy as the other one is on the opposite side of the screen.
But then you would have two controls for the same thing (cueing volume). Just midi map it on your default set, or use SelectedTrackControl, and where it is on the screen would not ...

Re: Clips take Track's color
This would be good to have as an option though. I see your point but personally, I don't use many variations of clips. Maybe change all the clips to the track colour but keep the right half of the clip the original colour? Just to get some sort of uniformity.

Re: Group filtering and sends issue
Thanks for the reply but that would still mean I am filtering the whole send track which also has non-drum parts being sent to it (I only wish to filter the drums). Surely if I filter the drums, then nothing would be being sent to the send? Sorry, I can't quite get my head around why Ableton routes ...

Send bypass
I'd like to toggle my sends on/off so I can A/B the effect (reverb for example).
I know I could turn the send track on/off or right click>disable but is there a quicker way to toggle bypass without the return tracks being displayed on the arrange or session view? Possibly on the send dial itself ...

Ah, thanks for the reply, that would make sense. Would there be a workaround for my situation do you think?

Group filtering and sends issue
I've read a few other threads on this but no comprehensive answer that I could find. Here is my issue:
I have 6 (post fader) sends in my custom template including reverbs, delays, chorus and NY compression and each track I use (be it snare, samples, fx) sends varying amounts of signal off to these ...

Re: scrub through preview with warping off.
+1 please.
Some way of scrubbing through longer samples (such as builds or full tracks) would be better then having to sit there waiting for it to play through. Doesn't have to be precise, just to get a rough idea of what happens later in the sample.

Re: Loop markers and zoom on loop
+1 for this please.
Logic has a 'zoom to fit selection' option which is perfect. Only a minor tweak but definitely would help workflow.

Re: Macbook Pro for Live 9 purchasing advice
Thanks for the pointers so far, anyone got any thoughts on Q3 please?
3. Hard drive - should I put my sample bank on the internal or opt for a small internal and get an external one for my samples and if so which speed / type?

Re: Macbook Pro for Live 9 purchasing advice
Yeah probably won't go for the new retina as I don't need it and it will give the upgrade option at a later date. Will make a trip to the apple store and have a proper fondle to see which size unit I prefer.
