I set up everything correctly, and begin to record, but no audio is recorded, until it reaches the second bar
The midi is on the first bar, exactly to the grid, and while not recording it works perfectly.

Ableton Forum's top production and mixing tips
I'll start, maybe we can do one each?
helpful tips, daft tips, funny tips... whatever you like
No rules,it's just a bit of fun.
#1. Remember to leave headroom in the mixing process. Balance you're levels to taste , but keep peaks below -6db as a general guideline.

Funny I should see this thread... about an hour ago Live crashed and I lost about 3 hours of intense work
It kept on crashing when I tried to open the program again, tried it 3 times.
so turned off my laptop for an hour
Turn it back on and boot up live
It couldn't restore from undo's

Yeah, I've been using live devices for mixing and mastering
But as I learn and improve the parameters and options available become limited

Ozone 5 + Alloy 2 PDC issues ?
Hey guys,
Really need some advice
I don't know much about PDC but I know there are some people here with some insight.
I want to purchase the Alloy 2 and ozone 5 basic bundle
but as these are plug ins (and an expensive and big purchase for someone like me)
I really want to rest assured these plugs ...

Question about recording with microphone
I plug my microphone in and when I record there is a buzz, and hiss, a general undertone of nastiness that ruins my recordings.
My question is how do I stop this unwanted noise?

Thanks tarekith
I have been reading your excellent PDF's
The mixdown I must admit I do find quite difficult.
But I practice and learn a bit more everyday
Thanks for the advice and lending me your ears will definitely work on those points for my future work!
