have you tried updating your graphic card drivers?

it may not be an ableton issue. probably openGL rendering related. I had exact same issue and softtube support was totally MIA / unhelpful; i updated my nvidia drivers and softube has been working solid since.

live has been remarkably stable compared to some other apps!

i have found that some vendors drivers responded catastrophically to Mavericks updates, so i took this chance to remove old / unused firewire/usb interface drivers and that has really helped.

looking fwd to 9.1 all the same...

Not in Push... but you can use a plug-in called Cthulhu and then send its output to your hardware

push note -> midi track -> cthulhu converts c3 to chord ABC -> midi out? or do the chords get recorded in the clip?

i agree it seems like touch strip midi mapping should be part of push setup screen (if it is not already)

then for cc a text box to type in the cc value

if nothing else, allow sysex from max 4 live.

m4l is brilliant. right now i am cobbled in live because m4l sysex out hits a brick wall.

i use only midi hw -- no plugins, live instruments or live audio effects

i do not yet have push.

is it possible to setup push to send chords when i push a single pad? how would one do this?

I have a DSI evolver desktop control patch that makes creating new sounds for it actually fun (instead of laborious head scratching confusion) how nice would it be if I could integrate it into Live and mappable to any midi controller.

Thats just one small example but there are so many hardware ...
