yes, Live do not sound like "pro", it sounds better!!!

hm, I quit using DP after installing Live 4. I found that I don´t need it anymore....well, maybe that´s not a solution for your prob, but think about it....

what are you guys doing when running out of CPU power?
Bouncing tracks, freezing tracks(not sure if you can in Live)
or what?

Are you guys making your final mix mostly in Live or do you export/record your tracks to another DAW (ProTools, DP..?)

Got that. But still, you play with the toys you like and prefer. ANd we all know what some guys have made with a eight-track!!!!

Oh yeah, that just might be the case. But in the end it´s the feeling that
counts, I´d rather eat worms than have a badly designed pc in front
of me!
Seriously, both platforms do just fine. You´re not looking for ultimate CPU performance, but a tune that makes a difference!

It seems to me people are using different versions of Live and demosongs,
you can´t get right answers concerning CPU performance if setups aren´t
exactly the same.

Operating system: OSX 10.3
CPU Speed: 1.25 GHz
Soundcard: Motu 828

Result for test 1: 7%
Result fot test 2: 24%
