After a year of mucking around, I'm bordering on mild proficiency with Live - it smokes, it's tight, fat and all the rest. BUT, Rewired to Digital Performer, it will only allow playback if triggered from DP. Meaning you can't play Live live into DP. And if I accidentally trigger from Live - crashola. This really cramps the workflow. People have suggested upgrades to Live 4 and DP 4.5, which I will probably do, but that doesn't seem to solve the problem.

hm, I quit using DP after installing Live 4. I found that I don´t need it anymore....well, maybe that´s not a solution for your prob, but think about it....

My friend has DP 4.5 and we've been able to trigger scenes and clips in LIVE while rewired into DP...really runs nicely....we are thinking we'll use DP for mixing/and for vid projects.
The new DP 4.5 is alot more attractive to me than 4.12....
Maybe you could try the demo or something.
