Thanks for reply. The key assignment works properly...but for the wrong function. I'd like to set the sample mute not the track mute. How can I find and assign the proper function?

could be a good solution but, just to point out the problem, I haven't found the way to assign the hotkey. As stated by the manual, I can assign only the orange buttons after having pressed the 'key' option...haven't found the proper function to assign... it's only available via the mouse ...

I'm reading the manual and making some simple operations on Live trying to re-edit some records. Just one simple question: is there any way to deactivate/mute clips in the arrangmente view with just one key or a keyboard shortcut? The only way I've found is to use the mouse command....

I've moved some recorded clips in the arrange window and splitted them. How can I exporte separate tracks from Live? I've to burn these separate tracks in a cd.

I've just renamed the loops using the live browser. When I transfer the loops to the audio tracks they mantain the old name, how can I fix this problem?

and thanks for your reply. When I zoom in I see the markers in the wrong position... Probably I'll haveo to set ther markers manually all along the track, is it the normal procedure when I'm in such situation?

I'd like to spice up an r'n'b track adding and house groove and re-editing it. I've tried to warp it but it's always out of sync...
So, just a couple of suggestions:
- are there particular instructions willing to warp an entire track?
- do you suggest me to use a groove taken from another house ...

I'm using live with Core audio driver. I've set internal device as audio input and I expected to see the mic recordin the clip... but nothing happened. Are there particular settings to make the mic work?

as a MBox and Protools LE user, I've been entitled by Digidesing to use the Live edition. To test the skills of Live, I'm trying to print the documentation but, surprisingly, the 'print' button is 'greyed', in other words I've not the rights to print the manual. How can I fix this problem?
