Sure, if you get an interface that has enough outputs, you can route individual tracks out from live. Above the faders in the clip channels are the i/o routings.

Right, that would be nice too. But I am speaking about have some more modular synth-type features built in, NOT using any 3rd party plug-ins. Having more modulation sources besides the clip envelopes.

I think it would be great to have plug ins that send control messages to modulation destinations in Live. For example, an LFO which you can set to control the pitch of an audio clip, or the delay time of simple delay. I think this would be very useful!
