Hi nkf,
Concerning the last four ASIO channels, Live has currently a limitation of maximal 60 mono I/O channels.
Concerning the latencies, you can try to disable Hyperthreading for your P4 system and check if you would than get a better performance with lower latencies.

3.02 and RME HammerFall HDSP MADI
Even with a few tracks running I get clicks with the HDSP MADI and 6 ms latency on a 3.2 GHz P4 (ASUS P4C-800E deluxe with 2 GB RAM). With higher latency Live runs smooth but im wondering because with older Hammerfall cards I get glitch free lower latencies. This system is working with lower ...
