So the place I'm recording has ableton live 8 and I am recording through an m-audio NRV-10. The problem I keep running into is sometimes it will record fine, with no problems at all, and then, all of a sudden, it will lose the ability to record. It will say "The file"0001 2-audio-10.wav" could not ...

So I know how to get the drum rack buttons on the launch pad to light up when I press them but my question is, if there is a way to have the buttons stay lit so I know where the samples are loaded and maybe make different ones different colors in order to have the power to distinguish them??? Anyone ...

So for some reason I cannot get any of my tracks to properly pan. When the knob is panned to the left or right all it seems to do is slightly adjust the volume. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. Anyone out there ever run into this or have any ideas?

Hit the I/o button on the drum rack and assign different pads to the same chock! bah

Hi! The solution to my problem may be simple so maybe you can help. Is there a way to set the drum rack so that when you trigger a sample with a longer release it will cut off as soon as you trigger another sample?

Hello people, I recently got an zoom H2 and have been trying, without success, to hook it up via usb to ableton so I could use it as mic in. I also interface with the NRV10.
Do any of you own this device and know the best way to do this?

Well no one has taken a bite at this yet. Can it be done? It seems like it should be easy but I cant figure it out.

Can someone tell me how to set up two or more midi/usb keyboards in live so that each one can trigger a different instrument?

I think that in this case one thing that is creating the sound, more so than the instrument itself, is the relationship in the mix between bass and kick drum. I bet if you were to separate them that the bass wouldn't seem as powerful. So in part I think it has alot to do with the production.
