Launchpad + drum rack + light question

So I know how to get the drum rack buttons on the launch pad to light up when I press them but my question is, if there is a way to have the buttons stay lit so I know where the samples are loaded and maybe make different ones different colors in order to have the power to distinguish them??? Anyone know if this is possible? Iv'e just been using user 1 mode.

The color thing is not really going to happen (for now at least).
