Working with video (64bit version Live)
I have tried the suggestions from https://www.ableton.com/en/help/article/live-64-windows-video-playback/ but the video is buggy. When importing to a project which already has instruments there will be crash. Also when it's working a bit larger projects it seems to strain application and I'll get ...

Re: Easiest way to copy/paste all automations (session view)
What I find quite baffling is that there's 'delete automations' via right click to a clip but not a copy one. Hopefully in future versions.

Easiest way to copy/paste all automations (session view)
Let's see I have one clip which has plenty of automations/evelopes and plenty of clips with only notes. Easiest way to copy/paste all automations from clip to another (session view)?

Re: What are the best entry-level headphones (less than $50)?
I bought Superlux to replace my higher priced AKG's until their warranty repair which took really long time. AKGs are more tight. But when comparing Superlox ones to any under 100$ household names, SL wins mighty. For serious work I turn to AKG but casual music making Superlux is more than worth the ...

Re: What are the best entry-level headphones (less than $50)?
I would recommend Superlux HD-668 B. They sound almost as good as my higher priced AKGs.

Re: MIDI Guitar vs Roland GK-3 and Roland GI-20 vs GR-55
I run it as plugin inside Live with 32 samples on Live settings for my audio interface and latency is non-existent (1-2ms). Check your settings how low can you adjust. Route it's output to another channel with synthesizer and you'll be able to record.
That's pretty cool! Latency is not that great ...

Re: Audio crackling with new i7 build.
Question for the IGPU experts and all the other experts: What would have been the cure for my setup/system instead of the PCIe card? I think I had tried a lot of combinations for system tweaks. I don't think I missed any new driver. In the past builds I have got the crackle free audio, despite the ...

This plugin works very well for me. No need for hw pickup.

Re: Audio crackling with new i7 build.
@sional, I had crackles with onboard - but not so much as with the FW. I also tried USB 2.0 interface and it had the crackles too.

Re: Audio crackling with new i7 build.
I bought a 40eur PCIe graphics card, uninstalled integrated Intel HD 4600 drivers. Plugged in the new PCIe card and installed latest drivers and rebooted. One example Live set that crackled on 128 or 256 samples when graphics were moving was opened now and playing with 32 samples only and I was able ...

Re: Audio crackling with new i7 build.
It was a 8GB (2x4) Kit/package. Also Asus Z87-K qualified list had this particular RAM kit as compatible. I could try with just one 4gb.
Did you install your 8GB of RAM as a matched set (i.e. did you start with 4GB and then add a further 4GB).

Re: Audio crackling with new i7 build.
OnBoard graphics gives crackling too, similiar way regarding scrolling or resizing etc. FireWire was not active that time. If I remove mouse and keyboard while crackling project is playing, there is no difference. Same thing when disabling USB from device manager. I did not uninstall though.

Re: Audio crackling with new i7 build.
In my system with Integrated HD 4600 there does not need to be a lot of strain to CPU really, just a few channels might do it. If I click open a plugin - crackle, resize window up/down, move window left, right- crackling until I stop, timeline is scrolling on pianoroll - crackling, all things with ...
